The Statue Factory in Kenduskeage, Maine is about 30 minutes from Bangor. It’s a small business owned by Lorraine Henderson who has been manufacturing concrete garden art – with the help of her husband for over 20 years.
Dan and I have been buying pots, columns and statuary from them for 15 years and we love this place not only for its unique designs but also for the prices. The 24 inch statue of the little girl pictured at the top of this post was only $40. the pot above with Angels – $25.
For those who love Celtic Designs, ThenStatue Factory has Celtic Crosses (free standing), Celtic designed stepping stones, green men and fairies – all gorgeous. There are also saints that I rarely see such as St. Therese of the little flower and St Anne. This last trip (July 2015) they had a complete concrete Nativity set. The stepping stone pictured above measures 18″ and cost $12.
Kenduskeag is an easy stop off of I95. You can pop the address into your GPS and find it easily. They don’t have a website.
